GLI “AREA X”
The “Area X” are born from the collaboration among the best master musicians of the Marche, the only real alternative at the national level at the rocker of Correggio.
Just a few seconds in front of the stage and you will be kidnapped by the powerful voice and stage presence of Alessandro Berti, surprised by the guitars of Romano Burini and Michele Coacci, lulled by the keyboards of Marco Fattorini, and you will dance on the sounds of Andrea Giaconi and Diego Romagnoli (bass and drums): do not miss, you will not regret it!

GIULIANA SOSCIA & PINO JODICE
The group was born from an idea of accordionist, pianist and composer Giuliana Soscia in collaboration with Pino Jodice pianist, composer and jazz arranger. Giuliana Soscia has a very particular artistic and creative course of study and experimentation, from concert halls to television studios of RAI UNO and RAI DUE, one of the few jazz accordionists women in the world. Pino Jodice is one of the pianists, jazz composers and arrangers of the most successful in the international arena, the only Italian who has eleven international prizes in composition and arrangement for orchestra in jazz, working for many years as pianist, composer and arranger in the stable Jazz Orchestra of Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome the PMJO. The repertoire is completely dedicated and inspired by the “Tango” with contamination of jazz and contemporary music and the repertoire includes original compositions signed Soscha/ Iodice. The staff absolutely unique sees Giuliana Soscia at the accordion, Pino Jodice at the piano, Aldo Vigorito at the bass and Emanuele Smimmo at the drums. The quartet is engaged in an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad, promotion of the CD “Latitango” (2008) and of the CD “Ancient Stones” (2009) containing all original music.

CHRISTIAN RIGANELLI
obtained his diploma in classical accordion at the Conservatorio “N.Piccinni” of Bari under M° M.Pitocco. Subsequently he obtained a diploma in “Didattica della Musica” and a degree in “Discipline Musicali” at the Conservatorio “G.B.Pergolesi” of Fermo. He is very busy as a soloist performer and in various formations, playing classical and popular music. He has played throughout Europe and as an exponent of “nuevo tango” and has played this often in Argentina. He is a member of the “Milonga Quintet”, a group that has released the CD “Romance” which proposes new arrangements and variations based on the music of Astor Piazzolla. He has worked with Vinicio Capossela and was the first to perform the music of “Il Viaggio”, a show by David Riondino in collaboration with RaiTrade. In 2005 he was the soloist at the “Giornata delle Marche” broadcast live on Rai International from the Teatro “G.B.Pergolesi” of Jesi. In 2007 he played at the premiere of “La funzione del centenario” by Roberto De Simone, a cantata for tenor and solo accordion, male choir and band, for the 37th edition of 1″Settembre al Borgo” in the Duomo of Casertavecchia. In 2008 he published the CD “Livin God” for the Arts Foundation Amalgama done in collaboration with Regione Marche. A project dedicated to the spread of inter-culture containing readings and songs of sacred music performed in duo with flute and soprano. On 4th December 2008 presented the CD “….a conduzione familiare” with the Concerto Musicale Ambaradan which offers original pieces inspired by the song writing produced by Rararecords. On 21st and 22nd March 2009 at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, he performed as soloist with the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana interpreting in first national performance music by B. Moretti for the ballet “Terra”. He is the teacher of accordion at the “P.Soprani” School of Music of Castelfidardo.

DAVIDE BUGARI
Musician and actor who has appeared in many shows both classic and experimental. An excellent interpreter of written scripts, he has also performed in cabaret and comic theatre.

 

DAVIDE RONDONI
Born in 1964 in Forlì, Italian Literature Degree, University of Bologna, Prof. Ezio Raimondi (110 honors). He founded and directs the Center of Contemporary Poetry at the University of Bologna. He’s artistic director of the festival Dante09 in Ravenna. He published several volumes of poetry, including “The bar of time” (Guanda 1999) and “He would have loved anyone” (Guanda 2003) with whom he won, among others, the most important prizes in Italy (including Montale, Carducci, Gatto, Ovidio, Camaiore, Metauro). His poems were published in book or magazine in France, USA, Venezuela, Russia, England, Croatia and China. Has cared for Rizzoli a new edition with commentary on several items from the Commedia of Dante, the comment to one edition of the Chorus from the Rock of Eliot, an edition of poems by Ada Negri, letters of E. Mounier and an anthology of Charles Péguy. He’s the author of plays represented in various theaters in Italy, including Il Piccolo di Milano, and the theater Biondo di Palermo. Usually cooperates on the occasion of his readings of texts or of choices which he treated with the best players in the Italian theater (among others, Iaia Forte, Franco Branciaroli, Sandro Lombardi) and with musicians like Lucio Dalla, Eugenio Finardi, and Morgan. At the Sat TV 2000 conducts a program of poetry and cultural debate.

DANILO DI PAOLONICOLA
ETHNIC PROJECT symbolizes the sum of Danilo Paolonicola’s artistically elevated experiences. There fosters a marriage between research of ancient material and original compositions on one side and refined arrangements on the other, returning a sonority going straight to the heart of music like popular, jazz with classical references.
Undertook the diatonic accordion study (concertina) when he was very young distinguishing himself as a precocious talent.
Belonging to his age between ten and eighteen years old we can remember his “Full Tops” in National and International diatonic accordion competitions in Udine, Rocca S. Zenone (Tr), Acquasparta (Tr), San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) and in six “World Championships” respectively taking place in Santa Maria Nuova (An) and Roc (Buzet, Croazia).
From 2004 to now he has won international competitions of Variété, Classical and Jazz music in Loreto (An), Benevento, Atri (Te), Capistrello (Fr), Lanciano (Ch), Sarajevo, Castel Bolognese (Ra). On the 10th October 2007 with his group Ethnic Project, he won one of the world’s most prestigious jazz accordion competitions – “Premio Citta di Castelfidardo” – where the president of the jury was Frank Marocco.
He ahs performed in many festivals dedicated to folk music, ethnic music and jazz. A special mention for the “Premio Stefano Bizzarri 2007″ where he was the opening act for the gala concert of Richard Galliano.

FEDERICO POGGIPOLLINI
Federico Poggipollini was born in Bologna where he currently lives. His musical career began at the age of 11 years when he started to play bass and piano, to choose a few years after the guitar, an instrument that is no longer abandoned. At the age of 22 years becomes part of Litfiba and plays Live tours in the group. Ended the Litfiba experience, gives life to the band “Mister Tango” by playing in various local and clubs for a whole year. In 1994 becomes official component of the new band of Luciano Ligabue and participate in all Live tour and TV appearances. In 1998 debut as a singer soloist, making his first CD “Via Zamboni 59″ (Reserve Red WEA). In autumn 2001 leaves the single “Indelebile” (SONYMUSIC) and the beginning of 2002 is produced by STRANISUONI (recording studio and independent label), and creates a new single for the summer titled “Tutto quello che” (STRANISUONI). Simultaneously continues the great summer tour that sees him engaged in stadiums with Luciano Ligabue after the release of the album “Fuori come va?”. In 2003 comes the second album “Nella fretta dimentico” (STRANISUONI), which marks another step forward in the career of this eclectic artist. In 2005 participates in the concert-event of 10th September of Luciano Ligabue held in Reggio Emilia, during which he played on the Main Stage in front of more than 180,000 people. From March 2006 begins a new tour of Luciano Ligabue, which leads him to play in the halls and stadiums across Italy, including San Siro and the Olimpico. In 2008 participates in the European tour 2008, tour stadiums 2008and tour Arena di Verona 2008 accompanying Luciano Ligabue. In April 2009 was released his third solo album titled “Caos Cosmico”.

ANDREA NASPI
Andrea Naspi was born in Loreto (Italy) the 1st March 1979. At the age of 5 years old received from Santa Claus his first instrument, very similar to an accordion called “clavietta”… He had a lot of fun playing and his father after 1 year would like to insert him in a course of Piano… Fortunately after 4 years he started to play accordion. After the first years of study he tried to insert the accordion into the pop music. In 1996 exhausted of this experience he started to discover the original classic music for accordion helped by a very good teacher, accordionist and concertist: Cesare Chiacchiaretta. He discovered a new music world: “the accordion has never played in this way before”- Andrea said! After two years he started to play accordion in a dance-orchestra making many exhibition in his region until 2001. In 2000 he made his first graduation in accordion at the Conservatory “G. B. Pergolesi” in Fermo and after he started to play as soloist in different contests in Italy. He made one course of study with Sergio Scappini, a very famous italian player and in 2004 he frequented a workshop in Montreaux (Switzerland) with Peter Soave, a famous jazz american accordion player. This experience was very interesting for him and he entered in the magic world of Jazz starting to play Standard Jazz compositions. During these years he partecipated to the following competitions winning the following prizes: 1st Prize at the International Accordion Competition – Capistrello (2002) 2nd Prize at the International Competition “Gorni Kramer”– Poggio Rusco(MN) (2002) 3rd Prize “ADAMO VOLPI” at the Competition “Città di Loreto (AN)” (2002) In 2003 he played during a fantastic tournée in South Germany (South Bavaria): it was his first demo-tournée and people appreciated very much the talent of this young boy! In Tokyo he performed during the International Accordion Festival in 2005. He received many compliments from the audience. In the same year he had also a small tournée in Japan playing in the cities Narita and Hamamatsu. In 2007 he had a very good and interesting experience-tourneée in Australia (Perth, West Australia and Adelaide, South Australia). Especially in Adelaide he made a very good performance during the Italian Carnaval Festival: many Australian people were happy to listen his art, especially audience said:“Andrea Naspi was very kind to play us melodies, songs and music of different style…” “…this young accordion player but expert and poliedric helped us to appreciate and discover this fantastic instrument…”
