The Folk Association “Città di Matelica” presents the folklore of the Marches gathers 100 years of history (from the XIX to the XX century) and it mainly represents the folklore of Matelica as well as the upper areas of Macerata province. A leap into bygone days which allows us to rediscover moments of like belonging to that time and basically linked to field work, marked by the rhythm of nature, and to the village festivals which were rare occasions of healthy fun.

“JOURNEY TO THE POPULAR MUSIC OF THE NORTH OF ITALY”
The band performs music Tyrolean, Austrian, Slovenian, folk songs of Trieste and typical songs of northern Italy.

LA PICCOLA ORCHESTRA “CANTO D’INIZIO”
“JOURNEY TO THE POPULAR MUSIC OF THE CENTER-SOUTH OF ITALY”
The spectacle presented by the Piccola Orchestra “CANTO D’INIZIO” is the result of long research work and reworking of popular Italian music from the center-south of Italy. The suggestive show of music and popular song will be enriched by the presence of costumed dancers.
