Mafalda Minnozzi – Live in Italy
“Musical Ark” is the concert with which Mafalda Minnozzi promotes on the stages of major festivals of “world music” in the world its latest record production: the DVD “Mafalda Minnozzi – Live in Italy”.
Accompanied on her promotional tour by a compact formation of three musicians, Mafalda has had the opportunity to present her DVD also in the TV and radio Italian programs.
Integration is the key word of the concert “Musical Ark”: integration as an exchange between cultures and peoples to create a new style of music that combine sounds and colors of the Mediterranean with flavors and rhythms’ s South America.
The “Ark” is the ideal space where the multi-timbral voice of the Italian artist blends with the sounds of acoustic instruments, enhanced by the original arrangement.
The repertoire of “Musical Ark” includes songs reinterpreted with creativity and respect for tradition: “L’Arcobaleno”, “Una Notte in Italia”, “Per Amore” blend with “Paciência”, “A primeira vista”, “O Que Sera – A flor da terra” shortening the distances between the musical worlds of Italy and Brazil and approaching Lucio Dalla to Lenin, Ivano Fossati to Chico Buarque de Hollanda, Enzo Gragnaniello to Chico César.
A strong bond unites Mafalda to the Marches, the region where she lived his childhood and adolescence and which continues to feel very connected even though since 1996 realize in Brazil all his musical projects: in fact Mafalda chose to record in 2008 his first DVD “Live in Italy” in the Theatre Feronia of San Severino Marche assembling a “band” made up of Brazilian, American and Italian musicians, with the extraordinary participation of Mariella Nava.

At the end of the concert PERFORMANCE OF MUSIC REALITY SHOW ARTISTS: GIANNI MIRIZZI, GENNARO RUFFOLO and MANUELA SESSA and THEIR ENTRY IN THE CREATIVE SUITE where they will live for the whole week of the Festival, giving rise to beautiful moments of music and entertainment.
